LISA CHUN

I’m Lisa Chun, an artist and poet whose work brings together collage, paper, poetry, found materials, and handmade books. I work where paper, time, and the inner voice meet.

My materials are tactile and often carry a history of their own: hand-marbled and hand-dyed papers, old books and ephemera, maps, herbarium pages, lace, Japanese papers, and photographs. I bring them together through collage, handmade books, prints, and other small works meant to be held, lived with, and returned to.

My work has been featured in regional and national publications and collected by people who return to it over time. I make originals and small editions slowly, with care for the materials and for the life each piece will have beyond the studio.
